Julie began her career in real estate over 30 years ago with Jens Gaunt as Property Manager and has been passionate about helping to make a difference in people’s lives ever since.
Julie believes the most critical element to enjoying a successful and long term career in Property Management is having the skill and maturity to select the right people from the very beginning who will treat the home as if it were their own. Establishing a strong rapport, trust and mutual respect with renters and rental providers is equally important.
When asked to describe her time as Property Manager, Julie’s response was “it is the hardest job I’ve ever loved”.
Julie was born and raised in Ballarat, attended Loreto College and after a successful career at Jens Gaunt headed overseas spending several years living and working in America at the Australian Consulate in San Francisco where her role was to help Australian citizens who found themselves in difficult situations and required consulate support. One of the many highlights of her Consulate career was meeting the late Andrew Peacock and organising a black tie event during his visit to San Francisco when we was Australia Ambassador.
Julie’s dedication and enthusiasm to providing a reliable and thorough property management service along with her strong customer service skills is the reason she has returned to be part of the Jens Veal Byrne team. She has a genuine desire to help people. Mentoring first time renters to ensure they receive an outstanding reference at the end of their lease provides enormous satisfaction.
Julie enjoys spending as much time as possible with her nieces and nephew, watching them play sport, spending time with family and partner Stuart.
Julie thoroughly enjoys her role working in the boutique office of Jens Veal Byrne and is supported by a dedicated team of professionals who share the same values, ethics and strong desire to provide a high level of service in all areas of property.
